8 Months Old!

Cooper turned 8 months old this weekend! It is really driving me crazy how fast she is growing. She is so so sweet and happy all the time and we are just having a blast with her! Here is some of what she is up to at 8 months:

- We have dropped a feeding and are down to three a day now! 7:30, 11:30, and 6:30. She nurses first and then has solids next.

- She is sleeping twice during the day for about 2 or 3 hours each time and all night from about 8:30-7:30.

- She loves loves loves to eat! She is eating peas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, cereal, applesauce, bananas (her favorite!), and....meat!! Cooper is a meat eater!! Kendall never has and still does not eat any meat at all, so we are very excited that Coop loves it so much. She eats turkey, beef, and chicken. The meat and cereal are the only foods I buy - we are making the rest and it's going great!

- She also loves yogurt melts and puffs. And so does Kendall. I have to remind her a lot that these are foods for Cooper. :)

- She is crawling everywhere and pulling up to standing! We had to lower her crib last week because she started pulling up a couple of weeks ago. Slow down, Coop!

- She has the best laugh. And loves to laugh at Kendall. And I.love.that.

- She wakes up so happy in the morning. She will just be sitting up in her crib, playing with the babies that are in there and talking to herself. So content. :)

- We have stopped bringing her carseat in places with us - she is just so heavy! I will be curious to see how big she is next month, but she is too heavy with the carseat for this mama, so I just get her out and carry her myself.

- Her hair is coming in so much more and is officially red. A different shade from Kendall's, but red for sure.

- Still no teeth! So much drool and we can feel the teeth under her gums, but none have popped through yet. I love that gummy smile, though, so that's ok.

- She babbles a lot but the only word she has said so far is "uh-oh!" She likes to say "ooooo" most of the time. In fact, that is what she was saying in these first two pictures.

We love you, Cooper Elyse! You are beautiful and so happy and we are so thankful for you!

Cooper's baby dedication is this coming Sunday, Mother's Day! We are looking forward to celebrating that day with our family!
