20 Week Appointment

Today was our 20 week appointment - halfway! I can't believe we are halfway through the pregnancy. Crazy!
We took Kendall with us and she loved getting to hear Cooper's heartbeat and talking to Dr. Miller..."Dr. Mii-yer." Cooper's heartbeat was 148 and strong!
Dr. Miller asked me if I had been feeling Cooper move around a lot and I said yes! I feel like she is flipping around all the time and Randy has been able to feel her for several weeks now. Last night when I was sitting on the couch, I was even able to SEE a little movement! So fun!
Other than some extra tiredness and a little less energy than normal, I have been feeling great. No cramps or pains or anything like that. I am wearing only maternity pants now with either normal tops or maternity tops. Kendall tells me all the time that I am "bigger, bigger, bigger!" and likes to ask to see my belly. When Dr. Miller measured me today, I was right at 19cm which is right on track (I'm not actually 20 weeks until Thursday). Hopefully that keeps being accurate - with Kendall I measured small towards the end and kept having to go in for extra sonograms.
We saw Dr. Miller at her Angleton office, and for some reason my sonogram information was left at her main office in Houston. So when she came in, she said, "I haven't seen the report yet. What are we having?!" It was funny to us to tell our doctor we are having a girl. She said she would get the report and pictures and call us if she needed to talk to us about anything.
Cooper-girl, we love you and love that you are getting bigger!

It's a girl! We went for our sonogram today and found out that we are having a little girl. Her name is Cooper Elyse. We are 100% on her first name being Cooper, and we are feeling pretty good about Elyse. We are also 100% sure Kendall will be a great big sister to this precious little sister. We are so excited!Close Up - head, hand, arm, chest
IT'S A GIRL - left cheek, right cheek (the clear picture we prayed for!)
Sweet Little Feet - toes, foot
Profile - head, eye, nose, mouth, hand, spine, torso, knees up
Everything looked good and she measured just like she should at this point. She is 7 oz. We are very thankful for this precious little girl (and thankful that she COOPER-ated for her sonogram)!
