Teething!

Cooper is for sure full on teething! Sweet girl is trying to chew on everything and drools all the time. I ran to the store tonight to get some infant tylenol and decided to pick up some teething biscuits while I was there.
Earlier today I was eating some Wheat-thins while I fed her. She stopped eating and reached for my hand, trying to get me to put the Wheat-thin in her mouth. I did, and she loved gumming it. When I took it away, she would cry! So funny!
She loved the teething biscuit, but didn't like it when chunks would break off. She hasn't started solid foods yet, and she had no idea what to do with having something in her mouth.

I got some "Baby Mum-Mums" (?) also. I never saw these when Kendall was teething, but I think they are some kind of baby rice cake. Weird. Anyway, Cooper really liked teething on this, but it would break apart really easily and she didn't like it when some would break off in her mouth.
Kendall loved helping me give her the teething biscuits. She is going to have so much fun helping us feed her cereal soon!
Anytime I would take the biscuit away, she would fuss. So, I got the camera out...and of course she wouldn't do it. But she's cute and so is this video. :)

Cooper's First Valentine's Day!

Cooper had a fun first Valentine's Day! She is getting so big and is so close to being able to sit for a long time all by herself.
Randy took the three of us on a lunch date to....Chick-a-lay! Where else?! He also surprised me and the girls with presents when he came home, but I forgot to take any pictures of them! He got me some beautiful pink tulips, Kendall a princess mailbox that talks, some Little Debbie Valentine hearts, pink juice boxes, and cards for all of us! What a great Valentine!
The girls also got Valentine's presents from all their grandparents! Pops and Kiki brought candy, stickers, and cards when they came the weekend before. Cooper was asleep, so Kendall opened her presents for her.

On Monday, Granny and Papas sent a Valentine's package full of goodies for the girls. Their most favorite part...Bucee's cups!

Cooper thought she might start crawling to get to her's.

Kendall loved her Molly card!

They also got Valentine's plates and bowls, stickers, and even one of Granny's students sent a Biscuit book for Kendall!

Look at how she is starting to inch that bottom up in the air! She is so close to crawling!

And a little later in the week they got another package in the mail...from Gigi and Peeps!

It was full of princess window clings,

cards, stickers, and

new clothes! They got the girls matching spring outfits that are so cute. Even though it was bedtime, Kendall wanted both her and Cooper to try on their new clothes. So cute!

Such sweet Valentines sisters!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!! Thanks for all the sweet presents everyone!!! We love yall!

Pops and Kiki Weekend!

Cooper was excited that Pops and Kiki came to visit her and Kendall this weekend! We had a lot to celebrate with them: Kendall's birthday and Valentine's Day! We had a pretty low-key weekend and just hung out at the house playing a lot all weekend...it was perfect!

I love this picture that Pops took of Princess Cooper! She just smiled and smiled all weekend. Pops said he is going to start calling her Smiley!

This was the closest we could get to getting a picture with both girls and Kiki and Pops. We didn't even realize until after we took it that Kendall is actually in the picture!
Friday night when they got here we went out to eat, Saturday we played at the house, they took Kendall to the park and then we all went to Chick-a-lay, we played more at home, took naps, and then cooked dinner at home. Sunday Kendall was running a fever, so the girls and I stayed home and they came over to hang out with us more before they left. They gave Kendall and Cooper their Valentine's present on Sunday - Kendall got to open her's and Cooper's. :)
Thanks again for coming this weekend, guys! We love yall and loved just hanging out with you!

Cooper and Patrick

Last week while Kendall was in Ft. Worth, Cooper and I took advantage of it just being the two of us during the days and one day we got to stop in and visit Lindsey and Patrick! Patrick is 9 months old now and he is getting so big. We had visited before, but that time both Cooper and Patrick were asleep. Well, last week when we got there, Patrick had just had his nap and was in his exersaucer ready to play! He was very interested in little miss Cooper!

And Cooper was interested in him, too! They just kept staring and staring at each other.

We put them down on the floor together and this was the funniest part: Cooper was in a very talkative mood and just kept talking and talking. Patrick would be fine until Coop would start talking, and then that would make him cry!! We don't know what was upsetting him - we thought maybe it was too much pink, maybe she was invading his space, or maybe he just really wanted to be able to say some things back to her, but whatever it was he was not happy! Lindsey and I just laughed so much. She would pick him up, he would be ok, Cooper would stop talking, we would put them both back down, and she'd start talking and he would get upset again! So funny.

It was so much fun just to hang out and spend time doing something just for Cooper. And it was great to get to visit with Patrick and Lindsey! You can check out his blog here. God is doing big things in Patrick's life and it has been pretty neat to watch his awesome mommy and daddy all along the way. Thanks for letting us visit, Lindsey!! And Patrick, you better get used to all the pink, because Cooper enjoyed getting to talk so much to you!
Oh - Lindsey posted a cute video of them playing - you can look at it here.

It's Been Cold!

It was very cold here last week, as it was in most parts of the country. Kendall was in Ft. Worth with lots of snow! Down in Lake Jackson we didn't get any snow, but we did have very cold temperatures. One night we took Cooper out on a date with us, so we bundled her up in her snow bunny suit from Evy!

She was so snuggly!

Even in our warm house, I just never could seem to keep her little feet warm! So, we put socks on over her pajamas, even though they had footies. Just an extra layer!

It has been nice and pretty the past few days, but we're in for another cold snap! That's ok with us - we love seeing our little bunny in her warm clothes!

New toy!

We have had some good one-on-one time with Cooper this week while Kendall has been in Ft. Worth at Gigi and Peeps' house! One morning we pulled out the exersaucer because we thought she might be ready for it. She loves it!

She can't turn herself around yet, but she was so content with the toy that was right in front of her. Little does she know, there are lots more!
Stop getting so big, Coop!

Cute sisters!

Cooper wore her black, white and pink zebra dress Sunday to match Kendall's birthday outfit! They were so cute and I love it when they match!

Sweet girls!
