San Antonio with Gigi and Peeps!

On Tuesday the 17th, we left Dad's and headed to Randy's parents to meet them to head to San Antonio! Early this year Gigi and Peeps said they wanted to take us and Val, Jeff, Gracie and Evy to San Antonio and Sea World this summer for all our birthdays! We were super excited! We stayed for three nights at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch and we really recommend it - it was perfect for our group! It was a condo that had three rooms, each with their own bathrooms, so each family had their own room. Then there was one big living room and full kitchen, so we cooked dinner there each night and bought groceries for breakfast and lunch. It was so great!

We moved some of the furniture aside so the babies could play on the floor - Cooper loved playing with Baby Evy!

On Wednesday we stayed at the hotel and swam, played, and napped. There were great pools at the hotel - an indoor/outdoor pool that was heated, and then a lazy river that had a beach entrance that Gracie and Kendall loved playing on. My favorite parts were the cabanas that had hammocks in them - Wednesday while the girls were napping I got to go down and read and nap - it was awesome!

Thursday we got the girls ready and went to Sea World! Gigi and Peeps bought all four girls matching backpacks full of fun things to do on the trip, including matching dresses! They were so cute!

They also all had matching sunglasses, but it was kind of hard to get them all on at the same time. :)

Ready to go in at Sea World! The Danes

The Davises

And Gigi and Peeps with the girls...Kendall was a little tired of pictures....

We loved the shows! The first one we went to was the sea lion and walrus show. Kendall loved them, but we noticed that they even held Cooper's attention!
Taking a break in the Sesame Street area with Peeps.

One of the next shows we watched was the Sesame Street sing-along. All the girls loved it!

Cooper slept through the dolphin show.... this was her morning nap. She usually sleeps from about 9:30-11:30, and then again from 1:30-4:00. She napped on and off throughout the day, sometimes in her stroller, sometimes on Peeps, but overall she did so good! We were really proud of both of the girls - it was a full day, but they were so good and happy all day. Cooper crashed that night!

We loved the Shamu show!

The whales were so beautiful and it was amazing how well-trained they were!

Cooper was a wiggle worm during this show, but every once in awhile she caught sight of the whales and would watch for a little bit!

Gracie got splashed during the Shamu show! She took a break at one point to visit with Cooper in her stroller.

One of the last things we did was feed the dolphins! Cooper was already asleep, I think, at this point, but this is still what Kendall said her favorite part was!

Sacked out! Such a sweet, worn out girl...but she had so much fun!

Thank you for the fun trip Gigi and Peeps! We had so much fun at the hotel and at Sea World, but our favorite part was seeing all four girls playing together! We love you guys!

Visiting Kiki and Pops!

Our next stop on our trip was Kiki and Pop's house! We had a great time with them swimming in the hot tub, planting flowers, walking around the property, and playing in the house. Cooper slept great the three nights we were there - Kendall was in one of the guest rooms and we were in the other one, so we put Cooper in our closet in her pack n play and she did great!
Monday my Granny came over for lunch and spent some time holding Coop.

That night before we went to meet Alden and Scott for dinner, Pops and Kendall planted some flowers. Cooper watched. :)

We went to Roanoke to meet Alden and Scott - there is a really neat main street there with lots of cool restaurants and coffee shops. We ate burgers at The Twisted Root. They were great!

Afterwards we walked along the street and saw what all there was. Aunt Auggie spent some time holding Cooper.

Cooper loved hanging out with Kiki!

Monday night after we got home from dinner we got in the hot tub. Cooper sat in the same float Kendall swam in the first time she ever went swimming at Kiki and Pop's house! She loved it! For real - she could stay in the water a long time and be so happy. She's just the happiest baby!

All ready for bed! One last picture with Pops before going to bed. Love that sweet face!
Thanks for a great visit Dad and Lisa! We had so much fun...and the girls did, too! We love yall!

At Granny and Papas' House!

So, while Randy and I were in Dallas at Catalyst, the girls were having fun with Granny and Papas! I was so thankful Mom could take off a couple of days of school to stay with the girls - and they all did so well! I don't have a ton of pictures from their stay, but they did lots of fun things like go to the park, play with the new kittens, read books, go visit my grandparents, and go to Mom's school to see her class and her friends! Kendall said she wants to go to Snow Heights one day. :)

When we got there Friday night, we decided to get in the hot tub with the girls. Papas had turned it down so it was just like a warm bath and Cooper just loved it! She loves her baths, so I am sure she thought this was just the best bath ever! She was wrinkly before we got her out...I think she could have stayed in there all night!

Kendall is so brave and had fun jumping from me to Mom to Randy - she is becoming a great swimmer and she isn't afraid of anything!

Cooper's favorite part seemed to be the waterfall. She just sat there forever and kept trying to catch the water. She is so stinkin cute!
Studying....

Saturday morning Randy went to help Uncle Scott with his fence, so the girls and Mom and I got in the hot tub again! They were worn out and ready for nap time that afternoon! We had a great time with Mom and David and loved being out at their house! Thank yall for taking such good care of the girls...and of us! We love yall!

Our Trip!

We just had a great long vacation! I have lots of pictures to post but I want to tell a little about where all we went and what we did.

Last Wednesday morning (the 11th) we left really early to drive up to Ft. Worth. The girls both did so great in the car and we had a fast, easy trip. We took the girls to Gigi and Peeps' house and then Granny picked them up when she got finished with school for the day and took them home with her to her house. Randy and I drove to Dallas (by ourselves!) for the Catalyst conference. We were there Wednesday and Thursday night and then drove back to Mom's on Friday afternoon to meet back up with the girls. They all did so good while we were gone! Cooper took bottles great and Randy and I loved getting to go to the conference. We got to hear speakers like Andy Stanley, David Platt, Matt Chandler, Craig Groeschel, and lots of other cool leaders. It was a great break for me.

Friday night we got to hang out with Mom and David, and all day Saturday. It was good to just spend time hanging out with them! Saturday night we went to dinner with some of Randy's family and then moved to my Dad and Lisa's house. We spent Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights there and had a great time with them! Sunday morning we went to a couple of churches doing observations and the rest of the time at their house we just swam, ate, and played around the property. We enjoyed being there for several days spending time with Kiki and Pops!

Tuesday morning we woke up, packed up again, and went to Mike and Anita's to meet them and Val, Jeff, and the girls and head for San Antonio! We were there Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights and it was such a great vacation! We stayed at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch in a condo and everything just worked out so well and we all had so much fun. Kendall and Cooper loved playing with Gracie and Evy, Val and Jeff, and Gigi and Peeps. The drive there went really well, we went out to eat Tuesday night, and then Wednesday we hung around the hotel, swimming in the lazy river and playing in all the pools. Thursday we went to Sea World!! It was so fun watching Kendall watch the animal shows and get to feed the dolphins. We have some great pictures from there and were so thankful Gigi and Peeps took us! Friday we got up, swam a little more, and drove back to Lake Jackson!

So that was our trip! It was long, but the girls did great and we just loved every part of it! Check back soon for pictures!

Mother's Day Weekend

Mother's day was special, but the whole weekend was really great! Gigi and Peeps and Granny and Papas came in town for the weekend and we had a good relaxing time just hanging out.

Saturday we went to the beach and it was such a beautiful day! We kept saying it was a perfect beach day - sunny, with a slight breeze, but not too windy. The girls had a great time with plenty of attention. :)

That night we went to eat mexican food and Kendall had some chocolate ice cream when she finished. It was everywhere.
Sunday we all went to church for Cooper's dedication. We took a picture beforehand with Mom's phone - all four of us got in there!

After church we came back to the house and Randy and I cooked lunch for everyone.

Kendall tried taking some pictures with Gigi and Peeps' new camera!

Friday morning, Randy, Kendall, Gigi and Peeps went shopping for my Mother's Day present. When they came home, Ran told me to go outside - that my present was in the front yard. I walked out and it was an ironing board!! Ha! My ironing board has been in such bad shape and Randy had been telling me to go buy a new one, but I have just been putting it off and trying to make my busted one work. I thought it was so funny that he got me one, and apparently so did the people at the store where he bought it....he said he went to the register with the ironing board and a mother's day card and the lady said, "I know you are NOT getting your wife an ironing board for Mother's Day!" He played it off and was like, "yes, what's wrong with that?!" The cashier even got the attention of her friend on the next register and said, "Look what he is getting his wife!!" Ha! So funny.

Then he showed me my real present...he went and picked out frames and a sign and framed some of our pictures Jenny took back in February. I loved it!
