On Tuesday the 17th, we left Dad's and headed to Randy's parents to meet them to head to San Antonio! Early this year Gigi and Peeps said they wanted to take us and Val, Jeff, Gracie and Evy to San Antonio and Sea World this summer for all our birthdays! We were super excited! We stayed for three nights at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch and we really recommend it - it was perfect for our group! It was a condo that had three rooms, each with their own bathrooms, so each family had their own room. Then there was one big living room and full kitchen, so we cooked dinner there each night and bought groceries for breakfast and lunch. It was so great!
We moved some of the furniture aside so the babies could play on the floor - Cooper loved playing with Baby Evy!
On Wednesday we stayed at the hotel and swam, played, and napped. There were great pools at the hotel - an indoor/outdoor pool that was heated, and then a lazy river that had a beach entrance that Gracie and Kendall loved playing on. My favorite parts were the cabanas that had hammocks in them - Wednesday while the girls were napping I got to go down and read and nap - it was awesome!
Thursday we got the girls ready and went to Sea World! Gigi and Peeps bought all four girls matching backpacks full of fun things to do on the trip, including matching dresses! They were so cute!
They also all had matching sunglasses, but it was kind of hard to get them all on at the same time. :)
Ready to go in at Sea World! The Danes
The Davises
And Gigi and Peeps with the girls...Kendall was a little tired of pictures....
We loved the shows! The first one we went to was the sea lion and walrus show. Kendall loved them, but we noticed that they even held Cooper's attention!
Taking a break in the Sesame Street area with Peeps.
One of the next shows we watched was the Sesame Street sing-along. All the girls loved it!
Cooper slept through the dolphin show.... this was her morning nap. She usually sleeps from about 9:30-11:30, and then again from 1:30-4:00. She napped on and off throughout the day, sometimes in her stroller, sometimes on Peeps, but overall she did so good! We were really proud of both of the girls - it was a full day, but they were so good and happy all day. Cooper crashed that night!
We loved the Shamu show!
The whales were so beautiful and it was amazing how well-trained they were!
Cooper was a wiggle worm during this show, but every once in awhile she caught sight of the whales and would watch for a little bit!
