She makes some of the funniest faces! I'm not sure the pictures actually captured this face very well, but she had her lips all scrinched up. She's so cute!
We're starting to wear big bows now! I had to go find a headband that was small enough for her head!
Here are the official 2 week old pictures I (tried) to take today. It was not easy to get her to sit up! Here are the attempts at sitting in the chair...
...poor baby...
...and finally I just let her lay on her tummy. We'll keep trying for those sitting up pictures!
And here she is all stretched out on the changing table. She is already getting so big - we can really already tell a difference from two weeks ago. She still has little chicken legs and arms, though! But we're working on that! Oh - and her cord fell off last night! She's officially cordless. What a big girl!
Today was a school day for Kendall, so Cooper and I enjoyed spending some time just the two of us this morning. I'm so thankful that Kendall gets to go to school - she loves it, has a great time, and it gives me some alone time with Coop and time to work on school, housework, run errands, etc. It's great for everyone!
Cooper is doing so great at 2 weeks. She is eating great, sleeping great, and we are starting to get on a schedule that really works well. Sunday morning we started having an official "first feeding" of the day (Babywise) and this has really helped us be able to plan our mornings and days better. We were feeding her last like at 11:30, she would sleep until 5 or so, eat, go back to sleep, and then not wake up to eat until 8 or 9. This was just too late for us to be starting our day, so we bumped back the last feeding to 10:30, she wakes up (or I wake her up) between 3 and 4 to eat again, she goes right back to sleep, and then either she wakes up or we wake her at 7:30 for her first feeding of the day. That means her schedule is 7:30, 10:30, 1:30, 4:30, 7:30, 10:30, and then a middle of the night feeding. It is working out great and gives me time to feed her in the morning, get ready, and get Kendall up and ready for the day.
Happy 2 week birthday, Coop!
