Kendall wasn't in the bath with her tonight, and she would NOT quit standing up! I told her a million times to sit down. She's learning. :)

Bathtime Baby!
She is so stinkin cute!!! And she LOVES her bath! Tonight I started her water, went to the living room to get her, and we walked by the bathroom on our way to her bedroom to take off her clothes and diaper. When we passed the bathroom and didn't go in, she started crying and fussed the whole time I was taking her clothes off until she finally got in the tub! She loves it!

Trip to Ft. Worth: At Granny's and Papas'
On Sunday afternoon we left Pops and Kiki's and moved to Granny and Papas' house! We had a great visit with them, but unfortunately I didn't take a lot of pictures!
Mom was watering one of their neighbor's flowers for them while they were on a vacation, and they had offered to let us use their pool, so we went there Sunday night and Monday night! It was a great pool with a little beach entrance that Cooper loved to sit on and play in. It was just the right depth for her! We had a lot of fun swimming and playing.

I love these girls!
Kendall walking back to the house with Papas - I just love how her swimsuit always does that! Ha!
Monday we got to go have lunch with my Grandma and Grandpa and I didn't get any pictures there with them! We were busy eating Chick-a-lay and ice cream, watching Madagascar, and playing. Cooper showed them how much she loves to eat! We had to eventually just get up from the table because she would not quit eating! I loved getting to see them and hang out for awhile.
Tuesday was great...Mom and Randy surprised me with a massage and a pedicure!! Mom kept the girls while I went and did that and I had so much fun! Tuesday night we went over to Val and Jeff's to swim with the girls, have dinner, and let Kendall spend the night. More on that to come!
Wednesday we got to go eat Taco Bueno for lunch before we got back on the road. Taco Bueno is my favorite and we don't have any down here in South Texas, so I always love to go there when we're in Ft. Worth! We finally got some pictures with Granny while we were there! Check out her new cute haircut!!

Trip to Ft. Worth! At Kiki's and Pops'
This past week Randy has been on a mission trip to Kenya, so the girls and I went up to Ft. Worth to visit family! We had a great time and loved seeing Kiki and Pops, Granny and Papas and Val, Jeff, Gracie, and Evy. We were very sad that Gigi and Peeps were out of town while we were there, but happy for them that they were on a much-needed vacation!
We drove up (with Aunt Auggie's help!) on Friday and went to stay at Kiki and Pops' until Sunday. We had a lot of fun shopping, swimming, eating, and just hanging out and the girls did great sleeping. When we are at their house we usually put Cooper's pack and play in the closet in mine and Randy's room so she's by herself. It works so great, but it just kills Pops and Kiki that she is in a closet! (It's a pretty big closet :) Anyway, she had been having a hard time sleeping for the past couple of weeks so I was not too excited about her not being in her own bed - I thought she would sleep even worse - but the two nights we were there she slept the entire night!! Yea!
Friday when we got there we ate dinner and took the girls swimming. Saturday we swam some more and then did a little shopping before naps. Saturday night Kiki cooked a big birthday dinner for Alden, Maegan, and me. We all have summer birthdays, so we celebrated all at once while the girls and I were in town.

Pops with the girls. Somehow I ended up with no pictures of Kiki with Cooper! She had a great time with both of them!
Saturday night after dinner we got in the pool again (we swam A Lot!) . Kendall showed off her new skills from swimming lessons and Cooper had fun watching and floating!
She loved sitting on the float!
I love that toothless smile! She actually had her very first tooth break through the day before we came to Ft. Worth - the day Randy left for Kenya! It's on the bottom and I still haven't been able to get a good picture of it.
Sunday we got to go visit Brett and Joy in the hospital! Joy had Baby Hudson Saturday morning, so we were super excited that we were in town and were able to go meet him and hold him! After that we went over to my Granny's for lunch. She had plans Saturday night, so she wasn't able to come to the birthday dinner, so we just had lunch over there Sunday.

Fun with Aunt Auggie!
We have been enjoying spending some time with Alden the past couple of days! She came down to LJ on Tuesday and is going to be driving up to Ft. Worth with me tomorrow! Wednesday morning we went to the beach and Cooper spent most of her time there sitting in her new chair eating her lunch!
As long as I kept food in her mouth she was happy! Thankfully Alden spent a lot of time playing with Kendall because Cooper was not quite so easy at the beach this time! She was not happy unless she was eating. We only lasted about an hour and a half or so. She was pretty cute sitting in her little chair in the shade though!

Kendall and Alden meanwhile were having a blast finding shells! Alden showed her how the buried themselves back in the sand and Kendall loved that!
After some much-needed afternoon naps we got dressed and went over to Kevin and Jan's to have dinner with them and Alden and Jeff. Cooper looked so cute in her weinie dog shirt and capris!
And of course that bow only stayed on for two seconds! She does not keep bows on well like her sister did! Check out that just-up-from-nap hair! :)
Also, we finally have a tooth! And maybe two! We have had kind of a hard week with Cooper with sleeping and general fussiness and this morning we felt one of her bottom middle teeth for the first time! Maybe I can get a picture soon.

Cooper's First Fourth!
Cooper had a great first Fourth of July! This is one of our most favorite holidays to celebrate in Lake Jackson because of the fun party that our friends the Gryseels throw every year. Because of the burn ban, the city wasn't able to do the fireworks show this year, but we had the party anyway and enjoyed hanging out!
(Yes, that is a medicine bottle in her hands! She loves to chew on the tip of it and she was so attached to it that day that we just went with it!)

Kendall posing with the cute Mitterling kids...she loves these guys!
Cooper spent most of her time eating..and eating...and eating! She will just eat and eat until you move her away from any food! But then when she sees some, she is ready to go all over again! Today I picked her up from the nursery at church and her teachers said, "Ashley. You are going to have to start feeding this girl!" They said she would just spend the whole hour sitting and eating cheerios and "goldfish tails." (They told me since she doesn't have any teeth yet, they just give her the tails. She is rotten. :) Anyway, she loves to eat.!
And Kendall spent most of her time swimming in all the little pools they had set up. So fun!
At the end of the night, Randy was holding a chicken wing, about to eat it. Cooper lunged for it and started pulling it, wanting it in her mouth!! Once he let her get a taste of it, there was no stopping her - she would not quit eating it!!! We were all cracking up so much.
Medicine dropper and chicken wing...what more does a girl need?!
Thanks again Laurie and Tony for such a fun party!! We love celebrating the Fourth with our Lake Jackson family!
Oh - I forgot - at one point in the party, Laurie and Tony got all of our attention and said it was time for the fireworks to start. We all kind of looked at them and they both started up a fireworks show off of YouTube or something on their IPhones! Then they walked around holding their phones in front of all our faces. So funny! Kendall loved it - and I'm sure Cooper probably loved it much more than real, loud fireworks!!
